Uh, yeah. I remember back in the Napster days, when that was the only way to get music.
It's a shame there weren't any record stores around back then, able to sell music on a form of portable media - sort of like those discs software comes on. You know, CDs. But for music! What a concept!
Anyone who downloaded from Napster with the excuse that they couldn't find contect elsewhere (like via Tower Records and a CD ripping program) is just plain lame...

I don't like the idea. The moment they start chipping away at devices, it'll set a bad precedent for future negotiations. It'll be hard to get back those rights. Apple, hold strong!! :)
Like I said in the post... I don't see them getting to far in negotiations, since the Disney/iTunes partnership has already shown some positive results. They are nit-picking, and if they are wise, they aren't going to shy away from $50+ million just because of nitpicking issues.

My service provider offers CPanel Horde for webmail. I didn't used to mind that but now Horde has been changed in lots of crappy ways and I don't like it. Plus it doesn't work at all on Safari.
Is there a way for me to get my webmail through another service?

Hmm...are Address Book and iCal going to get the same treatment? It would be great for .Mac to finally have an offering that competes with what Yahoo, Google, etc. have been providing for free for quite some time...
...or could it go even farther? What about an online version of iWeb, where you could edit and publish webpages directly from the browser, with drag-n-drop and all that goodness.

Or how about the iPhone having mobile blogging software that will publish blog entries to a blog on your .Mac website? Nah, it's probably just a mistake on apple's part (after all, i don't think this website has been officially released yet since we can't find links to it). I say that it is not photoshopped because i'm currently logged into .mac through the cited webpage. So yeah, it's real, otherwise i wouldn't be logged into .mac at the top.

What is a TIMG tag, and how do you do it? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to derail this trainwreck of a thread.
A TIMG tag will reduce the size of the image and make it clickable so you can see a larger version.
Unless you're working on a tiny laptop screen the images do not extend past the normal width of the forum.
