I have a 2009 17 and 13 macbook pros that I want to trade in and get a new computer. I have been trying craiglslist, but just get bogus offers, so was wondering if any one has dealing with powermax? I dont want to do ebay because just to easy for someone to mail me back an empty box and say they never received it.

Pity those who live a long way from the server, ouch! I notice a difference when I switch content providers from Manchester to London (I'm based in Manchester) on Steam. I don't think this data centre is for use outside the US...
Steam seem to have a fair few data centers themselves. I guess the Apple equivalent will have a drop down with one entry.

What, did Apple think that Verizon customers would warmly welcome someone who shunned them for 4 years? The customer is most important, shouldn'thave signed that exclusive contract with AT&T... relly stunted their growth in the CDMA market, people move on too...
If Apple had not signed that exclusive contract with AT&T, there would be no iPhone as we know it. Nor would there be Android as we know it. AT&T was the carrier willing to cede device control to Apple, which was a real game-changer. They required exclusivity to do it.
Android fans should be thanking Apple for that partnership, because not only did it make their own OS possible, but it also gave their OS a growth opportunity while Apple was tied down with AT&T.

You are obviously missing the point. Apple's new subscription model is preventing choice from coming to it's customers. How is that not a bad thing?
How up-front is the FT with its subscribers that it values the ability to sell their mailing address and contact information more than anything else?
I know that Pearson in general is heavily invested in getting iPad and other electronic readership up across their product lines. This is public information. The fact that FT sees subscriber information as valuable enough to stake its future on and to buck the overall corporate direction is very telling.
Until the FT reverses route, the ONLY rational response is to either not buy the FT at all (there are competitors out there) or buy it at a news stand.

I'm looking for a good dock that I can use my iPod nano and iPhone 3g with. I'm going for sound clarity and good volume.. and would like to budget at around $100.
Would prefer one that works with an AC Adapter as well as battery's.

As mentioned above. Interested in purchasing an 8GB iPhone, does NOT have to be unlocked (I'm AT&T) and would prefer it not since people seem to believe that running a program for 10 minutes makes it worth $150 on top :).

Shake was pretty much the standard compositing tool for big budget movies when Apple discontinued it. So, a lot of people were using it, funnily, a lot of people still using it, despite being discontinued, it's still a solid product.
I still use Shake and have had no issues.... :D
