Hello Gurus,
I have filed my I485 on July2nd 2007 at NSC , my priority date is June2004 EB3 category.I recently saw 3 LUD's within 1 week timeframe. Is this a good thing or bad thing?? did this happen to anyone?

I have used AC21 to switch employers. I also changed attorney using G28.
Do I need to file G28 for my spouse as well for the new attorney?

Hi all,
My wife has MSc in Comp and has work experience of 2 yrs as a programmer in India. She came last year on F2 and applied for H1 this year but She didn't get selected in the lottery. Someone told her that she can apply for jobs in universities and they do H1 (no cap).
Can someone tell us that this is true? and also suggest us where else can she try looking for jobs? Are all the Not-for-Profit organizations same in terms of doing H1 (no cap)?
I appreciate any suggestions and thanks in advance.

I am currently on an H1-B (and also have a I140 approved) with company A. I accepted a job with company B, who started the process for my H1-B transfer by filing the LCA.
My employment with company A ends 01/31, but company B has still not received the LCA approval. If they do not receive it before 01/31, will I be out of status until they file the H1B transfer? Do I need to leave the country?:confused:

I do not know the timing but you may try calling right now, an automated message asks you to choose between senators(to whom you would like to send your voice) and you are then asked to leave message to the representative stating that you "Support the CIR".

It is always better to maintain the H along with the EAD/AP. If you apply for PP, you will get the approval within 15 days and include the 539 petition for yourself along with the H-1 petition.

I will fell more comfortable if the experience letter mentions the last day as 5/17/2009. Otherwise I will simply mention it as April 2009. This way the continuous employment criteria will be met.

Yes. Perm Resi Card is your green card. You need H1B OR EAD OR GC/Citizenship to work.
Once you become citizen then you do not need GC. You will get US passport which is good enough for work/Travel.
GC is like super user so you can work for any employer in the USA.
I am surprised with your knowledge about GC but it is better to know sooner than later. Regards.

Company "a" applied for my h1b on 7th april 2009. They got an RFE in june and informed us yesterday of the same after lots of phone calls.I am not interested in working with them anymore (because of their lack of communication and bad feedback from other employees)
Meanwhile company "b" is ready to file a new h1.Can they do that.
Do i have to tell company "b" that i filed with company "a" initially but they got an rfe .
what is the correct way to file new h1

It is not a bad idea to become a donor. I encourage both of you to become donors.
IV should keep the twitter updates restricted to only DONOR accounts and possibly another twitter account for generic updates.

H1b extension can be filed only 6 months before so it will be April 10.
Going to consulate 3 months before the visa date - you will not be entertained.
My suggestion is file for H1b after coming back from India.

Hi,
I recently received EAD and my I-140 approved an year ago . I am waiting for the 180 days count down to be over. but my question here is after 180 days if i want to use AC21 , do we really need to have the I-140 apporval copy or receipt number bcz it is still with my employer and they are not going to share with the me for sure. But it got approved and year ago for me.
Also is there any way i can get the receipt number of I140 by calling the USCIS ?
Please help!
