I called USCIS regardng my I-140 approval notice and I was told that "It normally takes upto 30 days to receive any approval/receipt notices". Hope it helps!

Hi all IV gurus,
My wife and I filed our I-485, EAD and AP on July 12th and the package arrived in NSC on July 13th. We have received all receipts and finished our FP about 10 days ago. I checked the online status and there are NO LUDs on any of our applications. All of them still show the ND of August 15th. I am EB3 ROW with PD Jan07. My I-140 is still pending at NSC.
My wife is currently on H-4 and she would like to work. Is she able to apply for a temporary EAD on October 15th, since it will already be 90 days since RD? If yes, how do we go about doing that?
Your experience and advice are very much appreciated!

Yea now I see your problem. When I applied for my F-1, my parents had not yet filed their I-140. Yours, on the other hand, has already been approved.

I've just run a test - only when I update the control dimensions does the opacity interpolate correctly - what do I have to do to get this working without changing the entire control? Do I have to target the layoutroot and then set the propertytarget to the path of the child control of layoutroot to get the opacity anim to work?

How will you do that? I guess, while working on cases, user has to click somewhere to send an email. If they choose not to, then there will be no email. In my case, I never saw consistency in getting emails. I don't think that is a big issue, just check your status periodically. Bigger and important issue is how to get your case processed faster, and in sequence.

Hi,
I f there is one word difference between first name in marriage certificate and birth certificate will that be basis for rejection of application or will it just be RFE?
First name on the birth certificate and passport is the same but instaed of "ta"there is "tha" in marriage certificate .Due holiday ,it is just impoossible to get affidavit by tonight.
Please I sincerely appreciate your opinion what should be done in such case?
Wait till 16th evening ,hoping to get affidavit which may or maynot be possible or just go ahead and submit application now?

the change in salary ($76K to 120K) is a cause for concern. It depends how long ago you filed your labor. If it has been greater than 5 years, IMO the salary change may be ok. Rather than the titles, the job duties have to reasonably match.

Hi,
I Think you need not worry. Air-india will stop in paris for 1 or 2 hours for fuel. They will not allow you to get down from flight. So, technically no stop in paris. I came through air-india last week. No need of french visa. Go by what air-india says. Regarding NJ-Newyork.. let others can answer. No problem as long as u have full AP Papers.

Hi , I just came to know that my son's application was returned due to wrong fee and seems my lawyer resent with correct fee on Oct-19-2007. will USCIS accept the application?. I'm still waiting for the receipt # for my son.

I already received the EAD for me and my wife. Currently, I�m in the H1b which is expiring on Sep 2008 (6 years are over). My questions are?
�Can I be in H1b and still work another job as a part-time?
�If my wife wants to work using her EAD does it have any effect on her h4 status?
�If my wife loose her job during the use of her EAD what will be her status?
�I applied my I485 in July 2, 2007. As I already received my EAD, can I be unemployed after 180 days and start a business by myself?
�I know after receiving the AP I visit any their country. What will be my status after I come back? Still H1b or anything else?

Your Lawyer for sure gets it. You will get a copy of it. (I think you will get only if it is medical or any personal).

I completed my 6th year H1B in April 2010 and am currently on a 7th year extension based on a pending PERM application with my current employer.
I am currently considering taking an offer from a new employer who is willing to process my H1b transfer and my question is:
1) Is it possible to transfer a 7th year extension to a new employer given that PERM will still be pending?
2) If yes, will I need to give them any evidence regarding the pending PERM as I don't have any document on it except the receipt number from DOL.
3) My current H1b expiration date is in April 2011. If the new employer files for an H1b transfer in July 2010, will I get the same H1b expiration date or a new one (i.e. July 2011)?
This is important in my case because my wife who is currently a LPR will be eligible to become a US Citizen in June 2011 and I will likely not need to go through the PERM process.
Any advice on the above will help a lot.
